All inmates incarcerated at the Correctional Center are allowed unlimited telephone calls for a period of seventy two (72) hours while in intake, or until they are moved to general population.  This privilege is contingent upon the cooperation of the inmate with the correctional and medical staff.  After an inmate has been processed he/she is provided with a pin number to activate continued telephone usage.

During the intake process, all inmates are provided with an Inmate Telephone Authorization Form to complete.  This form serves as an approved telephone call list for all inmates to make paid calls while at the center.  Each inmate is allowed ten approved telephone numbers for family and friends.  Inmates also list three (3) numbers for bail bond agencies and numbers for private attorney's.  Please note that the Public Defender’s Office does not accept collect calls from the Correctional Center.

Each housing area is equipped with a telephone so that inmates can place local and long distance calls.  A family member, friend, or attorney must open and activate a telephone account for an inmate prior to usage.  This can be done by contacting the inmate telephone service provider at 1 (866) 230-7761.  Telephones are available from 7:00 a.m. through 11:00 p.m. daily, except during meal times, head counts, times of emergency, and any other times deemed not appropriate by staff.
