(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – March 11, 2024) – Chill winds and a few snowflakes failed to dampen the festive spirit at Hackettstown’s 2024 St. Patrick’s Day parade!

The Warren County Board of County Commissioners - Director James R. Kern III and Commissioners Jason J. Sarnoski and Lori Ciesla - were pleased to march in Hackettstown’s 15^th Annual Parade on March 10.

Leading the parade was this year’s Grand Marshal, Darren Tynan, whom the Commissioners honored with a proclamation at a reception last week. Born and raised in Hackettstown, Tynan served on the Hackettstown Police Department for more than two decades, eventually achieving the rank of lieutenant, and was a driving force in bringing National Night Out to Hackettstown, an event designed to strengthen community-police relations and enhance camaraderie among residents.

The parade included bands, fire departments, community groups, area sports teams, historic re-enactors and local businesses. As always, the Hackettstown Business Improvement District (BID) and Hackettstown Police Department did a great job putting on a fun and safe event. Explore Warren County Tourism Partnership was an event sponsor.

The Warren County Board of County Commissioners thanks all who attended the parade and wishes everyone the “Luck o’ the Irish” on St. Patrick’s Day!
