County Commissioners Finish Budget Hearings, Cancel Remaining Workshops

(WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ) - The Warren County Board of County Commissioners have canceled the two remaining budget work sessions that were scheduled after their efforts to craft a 2024 spending plan are moving ahead of schedule.

Budget workshops scheduled for January 31 at 6 p.m. and February 3 at 9 a.m. have been canceled, as they are no longer deemed necessary.

The budget is to be introduced at the board’s February 28 meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the county’s Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building, 165 County Route 519, White Township, located south of Belvidere.

Meanwhile, the Board of School Estimate of Warren County Community College will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, February 14 at 5 p.m. on the funding plan for the college for the period July 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. The public hearing will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Wayne Dumont, Jr. County Administration Building, and will be followed by the regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, which has been moved to 7 p.m. for that session.

The Board of School Estimate of Warren County Community College is composed of the three county Commissioners and two College representatives.
