April is National Autism Awareness Month, and Warren County is dedicated to promoting understanding and acceptance of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Warren County Board of County Commissioners is encouraging residents to take this opportunity to learn more about ASD and early diagnosis strategies, listen to the experiences of individuals with autism, and help us build a more inclusive community that supports all. 

As we reflect on our progress, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the needs of people with ASD now and into the future. It is our goal to ensure that individuals with autism are able to reach their potential and fully participate in our society, despite the challenges they may face.

We acknowledge the invaluable efforts of advocates, service providers, and organizations such as the Arc of Warren County, who work tirelessly to improve the lives of individuals with ASD and their families. The Arc empowers people with ASD by providing them with the information and resources they need to live fulfilling lives, while also promoting acceptance and understanding of people with autism.

Let us come together as a community to raise awareness, promote acceptance, and support individuals with autism and their families. Together, we can create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of their neurodiversity.

The Arc of Warren County Radiothon 2023 will be held on April 19, 2023. Funds raised go to support Camp Warren and other Arc programs. Help spread the joy of the Camp Warren experience for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
