Post Date:02/15/2023 3:34 PM

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – February 14, 2023) – Warren County welcomed Project Self-Sufficiency to Hackettstown as County Commissioner Director Lori Ciesla and Commissioner Jason J. Sarnoski celebrated the Hackettstown grand opening of Project Self-Sufficiency’s “Journey” mobile office.

Staffed by a driver and case manager, Project Self-Sufficiency Journey brings free food, diapers, and essential resources to those in need. The mobile office is also equipped with a classroom and counseling area, computer workstations with internet access, and additional resources. Project Self-Sufficiency Journey will be visiting Trinity Church, 213 Main Street Hackettstown, every other Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“The PSS Journey mobile office is a welcomed addition to the services PSS already provides,” Ciesla said, adding, “Our residents can’t always get to the services they need so I am so grateful the Journey program can aid in bringing those services and supplies directly to them.”

Project Self-Sufficiency received funding for Journey from the Warren County Department of Human Services.

“I’m glad Warren County could help support such a great organization that does so much good for so many people. It’s an honor to be at the grand opening of this mobile office,” Sarnoski said.
