The Warren County Personnel Department is responsible for administering policies, rules, and practices for job applicants and County employees equally and fairly while complying with all aspects of Federal and State labor law, collective bargaining agreements, and NJ Civil Service Commission regulations.

This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities and support to County Departments:

  • Employee recruitment, selection and orientation to County employment
  • Employee and retiree benefits administration including family leave, health benefits, workers compensation, and pension counseling
  • Civil Service Merit System actions and classification
  • Personnel policies and labor contract administration
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Training, development, and educational assistance
  • Labor and employee relations

The Warren County Department of Public Safety 9-1-1 Communications Center is now accepting applications for the position of Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee.

 Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainees must be available to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and inclement weather. Basic Telecommunicator Certification, EMD & CPR Certification and experience are a plus.
