Take notice that pursuant to the provision of N.J.S.A. 10:4-18, the Open Public Meetings Act, the following is a Schedule of upcoming Regular Meetings of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Warren. All regular meetings shall be held in the Commissioner Meeting Room, Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building, 165 County Route 519 South, Belvidere (White Township), New Jersey.

Rules of Conduct and Decorum for Public Meetings

Public Hearing on Proposed Sale of County-Owned Property

The County of Warren, in accordance with the New Jersey Local Lands and Buildings Law, shall hold two (2) public hearings on the proposed sale by public auction of the County-owned property currently designated as Block 13, Lot 11, in the Township of Harmony, County of Warren, New Jersey.

Block 13, Lot 11, was recently created by consolidation and merger of the six (6) lots formerly identified as Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 into a single new lot pursuant to Deed of Consolidation and Merger, dated July 17, 2023, and recorded in the Warren County Clerk’s Office on August 10, 2023, in Book 3366, Page 243. The subject property is comprised of approximately 7.75 acres, with a 1.5 story, single family dwelling situated on the property along with a one-story detached garage.  Accordingly, Block 13, Lot 11, may be offered by Open Public Sale at auction, to the highest bidder. 

Public Hearing Number 1 shall be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Township of Harmony Municipal Building, 3003 Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg, New Jersey 08865.

Public Hearing Number 2 shall be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wayne Dumont, Jr. Administration Building, 165 County Route 519 South, Belvidere, New Jersey 07823.

The report required by The Local Lands and Buildings Law is available here and copies shall be made available at each of the public hearings.  Comments from the public shall be taken at each of the public hearings and shall be entered into the transcripted record.  Written comments may be submitted at the public hearings or may be submitted in advance to:
