Museum Tours & Shippen Talks

Tours begin at 1 p.m. with last (abbreviated) tour beginning at 3:30 p.m. 

Shippen Talks Speakers' Series (2 - 3:30 p.m.)

Jeff FineganJeff Finegan is a local author who will be discussing the fourth book in his I knew George Washington series titled, My Dear Grandpapa: The Fascinating Story of a Young Woman and Her Step-Grandfather, George Washington.

Entrance to speaker's area: center door on lower porch along lower drive. (There are a few steps to climb to get to the porch.)

Adults, children & teachers are welcome to attend.

We are a family-friendly site. 

Event is free to the public. Our Friends of Shippen is a volunteer group that accepts donations from our visitors at the end of the tours. All donated monies are used to purchase things for the museum.
