Commissioner Sarnoski Holds Meeting on Truck Traffic

(WHITE TOWNSHIP, NJ - January 18, 2023) - Commissioner Jason Sarnoski held a meeting with municipal officials from across Warren County to discuss truck traffic on local and county roads. Municipal officials and county professionals had the chance to review this issue, sharing valuable information and communicating their opinions on this complex matter.

Commissioner Jason Sarnoski stated, “I’m excited to be working with our municipal leaders to tackle this issue; I really value the teamwork we have in Warren County. Working collaboratively to solve the problems impacting our towns and the county as a whole is crucial.”

Commissioner Director Lori Ciesla added, “As our municipalities continue to approve applications with high traffic volumes that affect neighboring town and county roadways we must all come together to work on solutions that will keep traffic flowing, protect our roads, and maintain our coveted way of life in Warren County. I am very pleased by the level of cooperation we have at this moment and I thank everyone for participating, especially Commissioner Sarnoski for pulling everyone together.”

The County’s plan remains in the conceptual stages but this meeting and the open dialogue between officials is an important step forward. Truck traffic on municipal and county roads deserves tremendous attention, our officials and professionals are dedicated to bringing a sensible and comprehensive solution to this matter.

Commissioner James R. Kern III is scheduled to meet with local police from across Warren County to hear their thoughts and discuss plans for enforcement.
